Our 2023 Summer Swim Season is just around the corner! We remain in the GOLD division and our coaches will be announced in the next week. Our team suits have changed but remain the same color. Feel free to purchase the new design, wear a previous season or a solid black suit. To do so make your way over to Alpine Ski Center (30 Orchard Park Dr Suite 17, Greenville, SC 29615).

Our Brushy Meadows Guppy program will NOT run this summer, but we are hoping to offer it again in 2024.

We’ve got a LOT of important dates to share with you. This year, we’ve created an

As with anything new, there’s a learning curve, so we appreciate your patience as we add/edit/update the calendar throughout the season. We’ll still be sending our weekly emails, so if the online calendar is a bust, you’ve got a backup!

LOOKING AHEAD

April 1 - May 13 Team Registration on our website https://bmsw.swimtopia.com/.

April 12 Team Drop-In at the Brushy Meadows Clubhouse from 6-8pm. Representatives from our swim team will be available to answer questions, help with online registration, collect dues, learn about meet volunteer requirements and positions, access volunteer training, order t-shirts, etc. This is an awesome learning opportunity for new families or veterans who might want to change things up a bit for this coming season!

May 8 Swim Practice Begins at 5:30pm. Regular practice times will be adjusted as
school ends and meets begin. More information to follow. Swimmers should wear
ANY suit, and bring a towel, goggles, and tennis shoes (just in case it’s chilly and coaches opt for dry-land practice).

May 8 Parent Meeting (Rain or Shine) at the Brushy Meadows Clubhouse at 5:30pm.
You’ll already be here for practice, so join us inside! We’ll be sharing updated information about SAIL changes, volunteer opportunities (we’ve got new positions for folks who need more flexible volunteer slots), meet sign-ups, and other cool stuff.

May 25 Mock Meet in lieu of evening practice. We’ve noticed that the first official meet of the season can be overwhelming, so this year, we’re trying something new! Swimmers will have an opportunity to swim one individual and one relay to practice starts, turns, etc. Volunteers will also have a chance to refresh their skills. This will be much shorter than a regular meet! More info to come.
